Matakana Superfoods Instant Chia Organic Powder is a milled form of the whole partially defatted chia seed, which has been extruded - allowing for greater digestibility, solubility and versatility. Matakana source the highest quality organic chia seeds from the sustainable and fertile plains of Central and South America.
Chia's powerful properties date back to the Aztec legend where just one mouthful of the mystical seeds could sustain a warrior in battle for up to 24 hours. In recent years, science has recognised chia's impressive nutritional profile - which includes an abundance of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and dietary fibre. It has a mild taste and is suitable for all ages.
